This was the first show for the '52 as I had just recently finished it. It made its debut
at a local VW show. It won three awards; Best Restored, Best Stock Engine as well
as placing first in its class and Richard pointed out that this was a participant judged
show.

A good friend of mine from Milwaukee built a scale model of the '67 Ghia. The detail in this is
amazing, down to the DVB sticker on the window and the personalized license plate. He also
did a model of the '67 Beetle.
